
Mmm! The taste and smell of fresh wood oven bread.
In early 2006 we built a traditional wood fired oven in our backyard at Cobdogla, in South Australia’s key food and wine region, the Riverland. We began experimenting with our new oven, using the best ingredients the Riverland had to offer as flavourings for our bread.
Today, Backyard Bread has developed into an innovative range of delicious, handmade gourmet breads, gently sliced into bite sized pieces and baked until crunchy. They make a superb accompaniment to dips, on cheese and antipasto platters and as a base for hors d'oeuves.
